You are kindly invited to participate in the Slovenian Conference on Artificial Intelligence (SCAI) 2022, which will take place on 11 October 2022 at Jožef Stefan Institute, Ljubljana, Slovenia, as a part of the Information Society multiconference.
SCAI and its predecessor Intelligent Systems are traditional conferences at the multiconference. nformation technology is transforming the global and the Slovenian society, and the COVID-19 lockdowns have given it an additional boost. While artificial intelligence is already an integral part of information technology, its impact and importance are increasing. This goes hand-in-hand with increased public and regulatory scrutiny. The conference addresses artificial intelligence, intelligent systems and their applications in the information society. It seeks to present state-of-the-art methods and their development, as well as applications to real-life problems. In addition to technical issues, it also addresses the impact of artificial intelligence on the society, its perception by citizens and policy-makers, advantages and disadvantages. We welcome papers from the academia and the industry, from any country.
Conference Topics

Instruction for authors
We call for papers on the topics of the conference, which should be accessible to a relatively wide audience. The papers should not exceed four pages, and should preferably be written in English, although Slovene papers are also accepted. Template files including formatting instructions are available on the conference submission page. The papers will be reviewed by the Programme Committee. The accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings and presented at the conference. An award will be given to the best paper selected by the Programme Committee. Extended versions of selected papers from all Information Society conferences will be invited to the Informatica journal.
Conference programme and participation
To enable everyone interested to attend, the conference will be hybrid, happening live and remotely, for presenters and participants. The presentations will be organised in sessions depending on the papers’ topic and language. By default, the presentations shall be given in English. The time allocated for each presentation will be 15–20 minutes (including discussion). The conference is scheduled for 11 October, but if there are many submissions, it can be extended to 12 October.
