You are kindly invited to participate in the 24th international multiconference Information Society (IS2021) held in Ljubljana, Slovenia, from 4 October to 8 October 2021. IS2021 will provide an international forum for scientists, academicians, and professionals to present their latest research findings in the various fields of an information society. The multiconference will consist of carefully selected conferences. Members of the SLAIS society are organizing two conferences: “Data Mining and Data Warehouses” And “Slovenian Conference on Artificial Intelligence”.
Conference topics
Slovenian Conference on Artificial Intelligence and its predecessor Intelligent Systems are traditional conferences at the Information Society multiconference. Information technology is transforming the global and the Slovenian society, which has recently been felt even more strongly than usual due to COVID-19 isolation. While artificial intelligence is already an integral part of information technology, its impact and importance are increasing. The conference addresses artificial intelligence, intelligent systems and their applications in the information society. It seeks to present state-of-the-art methods and their development, as well as applications to real-life problems. We welcome papers from the academia and the industry.
The conference will focus on the following topics:
- Artificial intelligence

Instruction for authors
We call for papers on the topics of the conference, which should be accessible to a relatively wide audience. The papers should not exceed four pages, and should preferably be written in English, although Slovene papers are also accepted. Template files including formatting instructions are available on the conference submission page together with the paper submission link.
The papers will be reviewed by the Programme Committee. The accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings and presented at the conference. An award will be presented to the best paper selected by the Programme Committee. Extended versions of selected papers from all Information Society conferences will be invited to the Informatica journal.
Conference programme and participation
This year’s conference will be hybrid, happening live and remotely, for presenters and participants. The presentations will be organised in sessions depending on their topics and language. By default, the presentations shall be given in English. The time allocated for each presentation will be 15–20 minutes (including discussion). The duration of the conference will be adapted to the number of accepted papers – if there are many, it will take place on 7 and 8 October, otherwise only on 7 October.
